STUDENTS are A SCHOOL’S future.
Whether they call themselves artists or entrepreneurs, almost all graduates flame out trying to be self-employed. They miss out on the freedom to bring their ambition to the world and their almae matres miss out on alumni stories of entrepreneurship and artistic success. It’s a seemingly intractable problem in education. How do we teach nebulous topics like entrepreneurship and creativity?
All artists & entrepreneurs share the same journey: they must go where no one has gone before. It’s time to pair art and business like never before.
Culture Hustlers unites the narrative power of art to teach the efficacy of business. We connect a national network of schools of business with schools of art, music, theater, composition, architecture, film, fashion and other cultural studies. All the top business schools use case study, and Culture Hustlers has distilled over 3,500 conversations on entrepreneurship into 50 crucial case studies across 11 industries and 13 topics. We come on campus to collect, share, and critique these stories through experiential learning.
The Mobile Incubator parked at Harvard’s “The Grove” to engage students & the public with 54 open office hours hosted by BFA/MBA Lucas Spivey. From over 400+ visitors, we created 6 full length podcasts with creative entrepreneurs.
FIU ART + DESIGN INCUBATOR

THE MAP TO A UNIQUE BUSINESS PLAN
Millions of self-starters are unsure of how to turn their side hustle into being their own boss. These 13 topics follow the true stories of artists & entrepreneurs discovering their own unique business model. Each topic has assigned documentaries and podcasts, along with workshops that build into a full business plan.
In 2016, Lucas Spivey built the Mobile Incubator and traveled across 42 states, meeting over 3,000 artists, performers, writers, designers, makers and other entrepreneurs. Their true stories inspired him to create the permanent class field trip called Culture Hustlers, a 100% experiential education. With his BFA in Interdisciplinary Art & Art History, and his MBA in Finance, he's developed experiential education for MIT, Boston Center for the Arts, University of Washington, the Arts & Business Council, and over 100 other institutions.
